Barney Stephen "Steve" Cordell, 66, husband of Shirley Dacus Cordell, died Monday, February 29, 2016. Surviving, in addition to his wife of 34 years, are children, Eric Cordell (Jenna), and Matthew Cordell (Julie); and grandchildren, Romy, Dean, and Clara.
 Steve served in the U.S. Army and was employed at Fairway Ford for 41 years. He joined the company on May 27, 1974 and was a tremendous asset to our success here in the Upstate. Steve's positive attitude is certainly missed by all of his co-workers. He worked hard to help all customers, and his mechanical abilities proved to thousands that Steve really knew his stuff! Some of you may know that he was also a professional Country-Western Dancer.
 Thank you Steve for making a difference. You will be missed.
